Welcome to Ireland’s first National Trail Conference, organised by Leitrim Development Company in conjunction with the ILDN and Rural Recreational Officers around the country.
Experience a collaborative adventure with Leitrim’s largest outdoor recreational event The Carrick Camino on Day 1. Day 2 features a range of outdoor excursions such as Lough Key Triathlon, guided walks, Stand-up Paddling, outdoor wellness experiences, foraging workshops, kayaking and much more!
These events set the stage for two inspiring days at the Landmark Hotel Carrick where attendees will hear from keynote speakers, visit exhibitions, attend trail building workshops, learn about new trail development techniques and connect with like-minded individuals. - Explore and experience the subterranean underground of Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark with a guided ‘Wild Caving’ experience in the heart of the Geopark.

Arigna Mining Experience
- Journey back in time and underground in this tour of one of Ireland's few former coal mines. Includes lunch.

Slow Adventure Jackalope Cycling Tour
- A 10 km leisurely traffic free cycle on the Shannon Blueway followed by a curious distillery tour at The Shed Distillery, the home of Gunpowder Irish Gin.

Lough Key Sprint Triathlon
- The event caters to athletes of all levels, from elite competitors to novices, offering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for everyone. Spectators will enjoy the beautiful setting. As a Triathlon Ireland Sanctioned Event, participants must register with a Triathlon Ireland Race license or One Day License, with at least one team member needing a license for relays.
